From the recording Last Song to You
Last Song to You is about finally giving up on the notion of connection — the idea that what you feel for another person, that person feels back. Written and sung by Uroš Jojić.
A companion to Terminal Desire, which is about the struggle of missing someone. This one is about finally letting them go.
Recorded with multiple takes, no overdubs, no pitch correction, no click track. What you hear is the raw, unfiltered sound of the band in the room.
Lyrics
Put those headphones on that I bought ya,
And listen to this song.
It don't matter if you like it
I don't care if you hit the notes
It don't even matter if you like this verse
I'll still take that bet
It don't matter what comes after this
If this is all I get.
Let this song stay near you,
near to your heart
This song are wrote for you,
This is how I play my part
If all I got is these words for you,
That's more than I deserve
If words is all I get from now
It's my last song to you
It's my last song to you
It's my last song to you
If words is all I get from now
It's my last song to you
SOLO
